MY THANKSGIVING

I've had an absolute spectacular thanksgiving weekend :D I must say that I miss my family a whole whole lot... There were some big moments when I became overwhelmed with home-sickness the past few days. I miss my family. I just wanted to go hang out with my Dad this weekend and go hunting, or sit down and eat some of my mom's fine pumpkin roll and chat with her. I miss them a lot.

I have had the great honor of spending my Thanksgiving weekend with two amazing families. The first of which is the Docusen family whom I spent Thanksgiving day with. I always have such a marvelous time with them. And Dara seriously knows what she's doin in the kitchen, homegirl can cook... And then, today I drove to Virginia where Ginny and her family invited me to come with John for the evening. I absolutely love the Peterson family. Their warm smiles and sweet words are so genuine. I love being around them. Their extended family was absolutely hilarious! They each had their own special humor about them. John and I are spending the night here in Ginny's parents home. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson are two of the finest people I know. Although I don't know them well, they're the sort of people that, if you hang around with more than two minutes, you'll instantly experience their sincere hearts and unceasing generosity. In the plainest of words, I'll simply say this about them: They're truly AMAZING! I'm thankful for wonderful friends like The Docusens and The Petersons who have made my home away from home 100x more enjoyable.
